Under the beautiful blue Boise sky the Idaho Humane Society
launched the public phase of the “Designed to be Kind” Capital Campaign. Nearly 100 volunteers, staff and supporters
rallied to celebrate the future plans of the shelter at the new site located on
Overland Road in Boise. The program
featured Dr. Jeff Rosenthal, CEO of the IHS, Frances and Roy Ellsworth, Capital
Campaign Chairs, and the honorable Mayor of Boise Dave Bieter.
To date, the capital campaign has raised over $6.1
million. Now that the campaign has begun
the public phase the IHS is relying on strong community support to finish the
campaign. We hope all of the Treasure
Valley community will consider a gift to support the construction of a new, centrally
located animal shelter. Donations to the Campaign can be made as a one-time gift or can split into annual, quarterly or monthly installments for up to a five year period. Please visit our Designed to be Kind Campaign website for more information!
